A Hot New Blog Enters TheVilla - A Love Island Finale Review
Aahhhhh!!! Islanders, the day is finally here – a hot new blog enters the villa. it’s only on brand for my first ever blog entry to be about the love island finale, duh! this season has been nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster. Although it’s been entertaining, it honestly feels like a chore at this point to watch almost every night. I was so excited to watch the finale with my bombshell sister, Emily. She even made homemade cannolis for the special occasion. My top 3 islanders of this season are obviously my beloved Amaya Papaya and cal state fully locals Hannah Banana and Pepe.
Even though this is a silly reality tv show – the representation of Amaya's big personality/execution of emotions has been beautiful to watch. There's comfort in knowing that Miss Amaya Papaya, simply by being her authentic self, has given women across the country a powerful sense of belonging and relatability.I believe many girls with a big personality can easily be taken advantage of/not taken seriously. Seeing Bryan stand up for Amaya (before they were a couple during the standing business challenge) was refreshing for all Love Island fans to see, especially after three boys were tearing apart her personality for no reason!
The dates for the finale were beautiful but a little boring to me. I neeeeed to be in Fiji, when I heard “Love Me Like You Do” - chills! Nicolandira's story has been exciting to watch. I'm always a fan of an invisible string troupe and believe their foundation of friendship first is the reason they have such a good bond that went in the long run.
Pepe and Iris’ bombshell siblings to lovers troupe was unexpected, but in the best way. Both losing someone they cared about led them in the direction of having such a great understanding of each other. They are so mellow together, which is the sweetest kind of love.
Hearing “Moon River” during huda and chris’ argument was for sure a tough watch. This song always makes me emo bad! huda easily gets painted in a bad light due to her anxious attachment style - but i believe she’s just a young woman who’s been through a lot, resulting in her having a lot of love to give.
Seeing someone match Miss Papaya's energy is the true ending that this season needed - winners or not. Amaya staying true to herself and her character despite all obstacles and negative opinions of nasty men in the villa is inspiring. The want of being understood and feeling appreciated is the most universal feeling, and I'm happy things are working out in America's sweetheart’s favor. All of the ladies looked stunning during the reveal of the winning couple. All sorts of endings are something that never fails to make me emotional - even a love island finale lol. I’m so happy that America is finally united on one thing - Amaya Papaya and brian as our winners!!! This truly felt like light at the end of a long dark tunnel that was this season.
“No one should ever be tamed. and there’s someone for everyone”, says Queen Papaya. Amaya got the zoomies and she’s in her bag. papaya fans rise up! Love Island USA 2025 has been nothing but a “bag of skittles”. Until next summer!
